Chattanooga-born forward who starred at McEachern High in Powder Springs, Georgia, spent one season at Rutgers and went fifth to Utah in 2025. His high-school fuel was Waffle House (the turkey bacon cheese meal, double hash browns fried hard, extra sausage and grits, and a Hi-C fruit punch), and at Rutgers he complained that New Jersey had none. As a Jazz rookie he boarded an early road-trip flight with McDonald's until a veteran set him straight.
