Lakeland-born right-hander raised in The Woodlands, Texas, the second overall pick in 2010 by Pittsburgh, who pitched for the Yankees and Cubs before Toronto. A coffee obsessive, he wrote the Pro Brew blog as a Pirate, sold a charity blend through Commonplace Coffee and always took Pittsburgh visitors to Acorn (since closed).
