Colleyville, Texas native from Heritage High who starred at Eastern Michigan, joined the Oakland Raiders in the fourth round in 2019 and became a five-time Pro Bowl defensive end. A March 2026 trade to Baltimore fell through when the Ravens backed out after his physical. In November 2024 he bought a minority stake in the franchisee behind about 19 Las Vegas Papa Johns and became its marketing partner, and in March 2024 the M Resort's Raiders Tavern & Grill had launched his Madd Maxx Burger. He and his wife Rachel met at a Mexican restaurant while both were at EMU.
