Columbia, Missouri native (Father Tolton Catholic, then a senior year at Seattle's Nathan Hale) who played one injury-shortened season at Missouri before Denver drafted him 14th in 2018; a 2023 champion with the Nuggets, traded to Brooklyn in July 2025, where he starts at forward and hosts the Curious Mike podcast. Famously strict about his plant-heavy diet, he still spent a June 2023 afternoon working a Raising Cane's drive-thru to celebrate the title.
