Jacksonville, Florida native who played junior college ball at Blinn College in Brenham, Texas, then starred at Iowa State before the Texans drafted him in the sixth round in 2023. As a rookie he said the thing he loves most about Houston is Truth BBQ, and that his perfect barbecue plate has burnt ends, ribs or brisket, mac and cheese and green beans, with a little cheesecake if he gets dessert and sweet tea to drink.
