A Philly-style cheesesteak shop on Saratoga Avenue in West San Jose, with a second store in Willow Glen. As a 49er in 2021, Mike McGlinchey, who grew up on Dalessandro's in Philadelphia, said Amato's was the only really solid cheesesteak he had found in the Bay Area, a mile or two from his house.
