In August 2021 it signed Terrence Shannon Jr. to one of Texas Tech's first NIL deals, pairing his tomahawk dunks with its 40-ounce tomahawk steak and duck-fat fries. Rangers third baseman Josh Jung, a Texas Tech alum who lives in Lubbock, names it among his local favorites.
