Born in Panorama City and raised in Tujunga, he went from Notre Dame High in Sherman Oaks to the Marlins, won the 2017 NL MVP with 59 home runs and was traded to the Yankees for 2018; he was the 2024 ALCS MVP. In his early Yankee years Haute Living placed him at Mastro's and Catch (Vandal, the third spot it named, has closed). Rehabbing with Double-A Somerset in June 2025, he stopped in at DeLucia's Brick Oven Pizza in Raritan, and in June 2026 he and Aaron Judge posed with the staff at Modern Apizza in New Haven. He was at the June 2025 team dinner at Jeff Ruby's in Cincinnati, and In-N-Out is his fast-food favorite.
